Brian is an fourteen year old boy from Branford, CT who is afflicted with adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD). Brian attends the Branford intermediate school where, with his acute sense of hearing, he enjoys music, literature, poetry and the friendship and love of his classmates. He often competes in running races accompanied by his mom Jean.
